What Got Done

Customer had a soft parking brake and a scraping noise from the rear. Pulled the drum and found the shoes had been pushed out way past their adjustment limit — they were holding the drum on instead of the wheel cylinder. That's why the brake pedal felt mushy too.

Installed new shoes, full hardware kit, fresh return springs, cleaned and re-set the self-adjuster, and reset the parking brake cable tension. Spun the wheel with the drum and lugnuts on to verify zero drag, then road-tested the brakes.

Includes

Shoes, springs + complete hardware kit, drum cleanup, parking brake adjustment, no-drag verification, road test.
